Symptom narrative

Patient presented with fever, erythema, swelling of left arm, lymphadenopathy, that worsened over the course of two days (starting the night of the day he received the immunization), prompting an ED visit on 9/27/2025. Due to concerns of possible cellulitis, patient was admitted for IV antibiotics and rule out SBI. Patient improved during inpatient course, blood culture was negative, SBI was ruled out, deeming diagnosis of cellulitis less likely.
