Symptom narrative

15 minutes post injection, the patient experienced flushing, numbness/tingling of face, and difficulty breathing/chest heaviness. The employee took 25 MG of Benadryl immediately with some minimal improvement. Upon evaluation by RN she reported slight improvement in symptoms but 0.3 MG of Epi was administered IM based on emergency medical protocol for managing anaphylaxis in a community setting. (Mobile Vaccination Clinic at patients workplace). EMS called. Employee declined medical transport to ED.
