Symptom narrative

24hrs after vaccine ( 9/23) , pt developed rash at site of injection that subsequently spread down right arm to wrist. Rash was erythematous, had vesicles, initially was itchy/painful but patient didn't complain too much. Pt was seen on 9/24 and it was unclear what the rash was but had suspicion of Zoster due to the vesicular apperance but as rash increased and more vesicles developed then became more painful requiring ibuprofen for pain. Did vomit 1x and pt had some mild malaise the initial 2 days after the injection. Pt seen a second time on 9/25 with development of more vesicles on forearm and then started on Acylovir while awaiting Zoster PCR skin swab results
