Symptom narrative

Client started complaining of feeling bumps on her tongue, and itchy throat. approx 20 minutes after she received the flu vaccine. She was given 25 mg of Benadryl and then was taken to the ER for evaluation. When the client was in the ER, she stated the Benadryl , her tongue was better but the itching had not changes She was given hydroxyzine in the ER. She was monitored and discharged from the ER at 1232.
