Symptom narrative

Tinnitus started in early Sept. 2024, and I still have it - terribly loud ringing in my ear for days at a time. I told my natural health practitioner about it, and she asked me if I got the mRNA vaccine. I told her yes but that was years ago. She said it?s a delayed reaction from the vaccine. I told her my wife also got tinnitus out of the blue and we had the same mRNA shots (2) on the same days at the same location. Tinnitus is horrible to live with. I?m an engineer and this makes it very difficult for me to focus on the details of my work. I have tinnitus around 50% of the time (but I don't log it). This has significantly reduced the quality of my life.

Lab data

I saw an ENT about this constant loud ringing in my ear on 11/6/24 and again on 12/4/24. She ran hearing tests and confirmed I do have some hearing loss. She prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs, but they didn't help. Then she prescribed Lipo-Flavonoids, but they didn't help either. She said there is no cure for tinnitus. I have a one-year follow up appointment with her next month.
