Patient developed pemphigoid resulting in horrific blistering over certain parts of body; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of PEMPHIGOID (Patient developed pemphigoid resulting in horrific blistering over certain parts of body) in an 84-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included Heart valve replacement (Artificial heart valve). In 2021, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient experienced PEMPHIGOID (Patient developed pemphigoid resulting in horrific blistering over certain parts of body) (seriousness criterion medically significant). At the time of the report, PEMPHIGOID (Patient developed pemphigoid resulting in horrific blistering over certain parts of body) had not resolved. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular use) was unknown. No concomitant medication was reported.
