pt received MMR and COVID-19 vaccine. covid-19 vaccine was administered first. MMR vaccine was administered second. once the MMR vaccine was administered pt had a syncope episode and diaphoretic within 20 seconds of MMR administration and started to get pale. pt verbalized to nurse that he was feeling dizzy before the syncope episode. Nurse called for help, manager and staff attended the nurse and patient immediately. Nurse called 911 while manager and staff was tending to pt. pt began to open their eyes as nurse checked his pupils and began to exam his alertness by following the direction of the nurses flashlight. pupils where dilated to about a 7-8mm. no signs of allergic reaction or trouble breathing. while nurse was still on the phone with 911 nurse was advised to see if EMSA had arrived. nurse began to make her way to the front of the store to signal EMSA as manager and staff was with the pt. pt began to gain alertness when EMSA arrived. Blood pressure was taken with a systolic of 95 and brady heart rate of 53. lung and heart sounds were clear. nurse gave pt water while being put on the stretcher. EMSA and firefighter began taking pt to the EMSA truck where he was evaluated further and as seen by the nurse possibly taken to the hospital for further care.
