Symptom narrative

Patient received an expired dose of Anthrax vaccination. The box of the vaccination stated the expiration date was 11082025 and it was assumed this was November 8th, 2025. The supplier also confirmed the expiration date was November 8th, 2025. It was discovered after the vaccination that the expiration date was August 11th, 2025. Patient has no side effects or other adverse reactions. Patient was informed of this error and had no further questions or concerns. I spoke with Emergent Biosolutions representatives about this issue. The plan going forward after review with national and state representatives is to revaccinate in 1 year.
