Symptom narrative

Patient received vaccine on 09/17, came back into office on 10/08 reporting left shoulder/arm pain. Patient states this started one day after receiving vaccine. On physical exam, there is no clear evidence of the location of injection of the vaccination and no sings of cellulitis or allergic reaction. Noted that the patient is left handed and it is possible that she had mild, preexisting overuse injury to the left shoulder that was exacerbated by influenza vaccination. No true signs or evidence to show that this was related to the vaccine placement when administering.
