Patient received the 3 shots, left to shop in the store with his wife. Approximately 45 minutes later he apparently began experiencing lightheadedness, and dizziness. He was concerned enough that he asked his wife to get help. She go the store management involved who intern called EMS. The got him seated in a chair, and he became very tired, weak, and closed his eyes. When I heard about his situation, as soon as I could I met up with the paramedics who already were monitoring patient. They were giving him IV fluids. They said his blood pressure was very low. The one male paramedic stated that he wondered if the patient had experienced a vagal response to the shots. The wife wondered if it was related at all to a seizure he had had a week or so ago. When the ambulance arrived, with support, he was able to stand and climb onto the gurney and was taken in the ambulance.
