Symptom narrative

I received an influenza vaccination and had a significant local reaction with some systemic side effects as well. The deltoid area was extremely edematous/swollen/hard, hot to the touch and had a reddish in color. I had a low grade fever of 100.3 degrees F with significant nausea and a malaise feeling. I was icing the injection site and started taking acetaminophen 1000mg and diphenhydramine 50mg ATC for the next following days.
