Symptom narrative

Pt received Kinrix on 9/26/25. Developed dry cough on 9/27, a fever 9/28 & 29, hives 10/1. Seen 10/2 in clinic with hives and wheezing. Pt does not have a PMH of wheezing. Treated with steroids, albuterol nebulizer treatments. Seen for f/u on 10/6/2025. No further wheezing or hives. Had a residual loose cough. Of note, pt's sib had cold sx at the same time, but no wheezing or hives. Also, in 2022, pt had a documented allergic reaction after MMRV given. Reaction type: hives. He was seen by an allergist at that time and determined to be allergic to that vaccine.
