Symptom narrative

I had both COVID and Fluzone HD 65+ at the same time as I always do. About twelve hours later awoke with shaking/rigors and profound weakness of symmetrical arms and legs. Needed paramedics to transport me to hospital. Diagnosed with RHABDOMYOLYSIS via LFTs and CK, rose to 6,400 U/L. Admitted four nights for supportive care and IV fluid infusions.

Hypotension, controlled diabetes, depression, asthma

Other medications

fluticasone, sertraline, aripiprazole, gabapentin, lovastatin Also had pneumovax 2 weeks prior to getting COVID and Flu shots on 9/23/25

9/26/25 CK 6,400 U/L - AST 158 U/L - ALT 60 U/L - WBC 3.41 K/uL - Hgb 11.5 g/dL - Plat 133 K/uL - all improved after treatment
