Symptom narrative

Nurse in charge of flu shot gave injection after going over the risk since I had reaction the year prior. Talked with my own primary doctor but received permission to get another flu shot for this year. 15min post injection, symptoms: scratchiness in throat, throat discomfort, cough, difficulty breathing and itchiness started. Progressively got worse. Provider treated by giving 50mg liquid benadryl. Symptom severeness gradually eased but never went away. Started to get dizziness and drowsiness, unable to function cognitively hence had to retire from work earlier than usual.
