Symptom narrative

Pt had syncopal episode with partial LOC, he reports he could hear Mom and this provider speaking to him but could not respond. Pt's eyes were unfocussed, head drooped. Pt unresponsive for approx 20 seconds then became responsive again, able to verbally respond and became mildly diaphoretic. Pt had drop in BP and HR that came back to WNL within less than 5 min. He appeared drowsy for the same time interval. The patient did not have any involuntary muscle movements, drooling or incontinence. He did not stop breathing. O2 saturation remained 99% throughout episode.
