Symptom narrative

The patient called on 10/20/2025 and reported to us that she had a reaction to a vaccine she on her left arm. After reviewing Clinical Services, it was determined the Capvaxive vaccine was given to her on 10/14/2025. Patient reports a rash that started off as 2 stripes at the injection site of her left arm on 10/17/2025. The rash gradually gets bigger each day and is currently the width of the palm of her hand. It is red, swollen (a raised bump), has a slight itchiness, but there is no pain. The patient was advised to take Benadryl (possible allergic reaction) and Advil to help with the inflammation. I also asked the patient to report back to us if the rash gets better/worse.
