Symptom narrative

Patient received the Mpox vaccine on Thursday 6/26/25. After she received the vaccine she developed a hard lump at the site of the injection with tenderness of the area. Around 6/30/25 she developed increased neck pain that felt like a pinched nerve. She took 800 mg of ibuprofen and it helped. She was also prescribed a muscle relaxant which helped. The neck and back pain lasted for about 3-5 days. About 1.5-2 weeks after the injection she had shooting pains in both arms and legs that felt like "growing pains" that lasted for 1 night. She continued to have a lump at the site of the injection for approximately 4 weeks. She had troubles with migraine headaches at the end of July/early August. She had a second dose of Mpox vaccine on 8/19/25 to complete the 2 dose series. The lot number for that vaccine was 96868. After that injection she had itching at the site of the injection. On 8/24/25 she again had some shooting pain in the arm (not the arm that the vaccine was given in). She had a small lump at the injection site after the second injection as well, but it was smaller and did not last as long.
