Patient called the next day and said that he felt bad and was up til 4am. His shoulders were sore, he felt chilled, and he had chest pain. He tried acetaminophen for the chills, but said it wasn't helping. He tried ice packs for his shoulders, but he didn't like that since he already felt chilled. We both agreed he should go to the ER to have his chest pain evaluated, and he said he would go. I plan to follow up with him later this evening and possibly my next day at work.
