Incorrect route of product administration

Symptom narrative

Vaccine given intravenously instead of intramuscular. Patient was already being admitted for a different reason and will be watched for any further reactions. No signs or symptoms of adverse reactions from administration was noted in the ED prior to admission. Tdap was reordered and administered IM.
