Febrile convulsion

Symptom narrative

febrile seizures; This spontaneous report was received from a Physician and refers to a 15-month-old patient of unknown gender. The patient's medical history was not reported. The patient's concurrent conditions were not reported. Concomitant therapies were not reported. On an unknown date (reported as "years ago"), the patient was vaccinated with Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (Oka-Merck) Virus Vaccine Live (PROQUAD), (lot # and expiration date were not reported) for prophylaxis. The physician reported that the patient experienced febrile seizures aster the dose of Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (Oka-Merck) Virus Vaccine Live (PROQUAD). At the reporting time, the outcome of febrile seizures and the causal relationship between the event and Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (Oka-Merck) Virus Vaccine Live (PROQUAD) was unknown.
