fingers curled up had to push on the table to straighten them up; had a rash on her arm, abdomen, and chest; Blisters on neck; Itching on chest that was mild; finger deformity; pain in her left shoulder; pain in her left shoulder, up to her neck; terrible Headache/severe migraine; severe Earache; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of finger deformity in a 69-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for shingles prevention. The patient's past medical history included surgery (had titanium from her C1 to S1 vertebrae from a surgery around 2012). Concurrent medical conditions included deafness (in left ear), seizure, oral cancer stage unspecified (had cancer in her mouth from secondhand smoke and had been in remission 12 years now since 2011) and allergy to metals (except titanium). Concomitant products included levetiracetam (Keppra), hydromorphone hydrochloride (Dilaudid) and PNEUMOCOCCAL VACCINE. On 29-JUL-2025 10:56, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix (intramuscular, left arm) .5 ml. On 29-JUL-2025, less than a day after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced migraine (Verbatim: terrible Headache/severe migraine). On 30-JUL-2025, the patient experienced shoulder pain (Verbatim: pain in her left shoulder), ear pain (Verbatim: severe Earache) and neck pain (Verbatim: pain in her left shoulder, up to her neck). On an unknown date, the patient experienced finger deformity (Verbatim: fingers curled up had to push on the table to straighten them up), rash (Verbatim: had a rash on her arm, abdomen, and chest), blister (Verbatim: Blisters on neck), pruritus (Verbatim: Itching on chest that was mild) and finger deformity . The outcome of the finger deformity, shoulder pain, neck pain, rash, blister, pruritus and finger deformity were unknown and the outcome of the migraine was not reported and the outcome of the ear pain was resolved (duration 2 days). It was unknown if the reporter considered the finger deformity, migraine, shoulder pain, ear pain, neck pain, rash, blister, pruritus and finger deformity to be related to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the finger deformity, migraine, shoulder pain, ear pain, neck pain, rash, blister, pruritus and finger deformity to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 01-OCT-2025 The patient self-reported this case. The patient received the first dose of Shingrix and she experienced really bad side effects for 14 days. The patient had a severe migraine or terrible headache that started as the day went on and this headache was continuous and went on for possibly 14 days after receiving the Shingrix Vaccine. The patient started having pain in her left shoulder, up to her neck, and into her ear that started the morning after receiving the Shingrix Vaccine and had a severe earache, that went away after 2 days and she had a rash on her arm, abdomen, and chest but did not know when the rashes started during that 14 days after receiving the first dose of Shingrix. The patient had blisters on her neck and she experienced itching here and there on her chest that was mild. The patient had her fingers curled up and she had to push on the table to straighten them up. The patient has seizures, and Shingrix has nothing to do with that (pre-existing Shingrix) and was allergic to all metal except Titanium and had Titanium from her C1 to S1 vertebrae from a surgery around 2012 (Pre-existing Shingrix). The patient had a Titanium Pain Pump with cords that was fused to her spine from the surgery around 2012 to receive Dilaudid up and down her spine once every hour for pain (Pre-existing Shingrix). The patient did not have the batch number or expiry number. The patient received a Flu Vaccine yesterday, 30-SEP-2025, and had no problems. The patient reports that she did report these adverse events to VAERS today, 1-OCT-2025.
