Adult dose maladministration; Overdose; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of adult product administered to child in a 19-year-old female patient who received HBV (Engerix B adult) for prophylaxis. On 30-SEP-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Engerix B adult. On 30-SEP-2025, an unknown time after receiving Engerix B adult, the patient experienced adult product administered to child (Verbatim: Adult dose maladministration) and overdose (Verbatim: Overdose). The outcome of the adult product administered to child and overdose were not applicable. She wanted to know if there were safety concerns and if the shot was counted as valid or a revaccination was needed. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter. The reporter consented to follow up.
