Symptom narrative

Within 3 days of vaccines (on 9/29/25) I had worsening shortness of breath (10/1/25) but was out of town. I had been having shortness of breath but it got worse. On 10/7, I went to the hospital and was transferred to a bigger hospital where I spent 12 days, including 5 days in ICU. I was diagnosed with acute left sided heart failure. I do not know that the vaccines contributed but I had a slightly elevated WBC in the ER. I was told that it might be related to the vaccines. None of the doctors mentioned the vaccines after admission but I thought it was worth reporting

Medical history

Atrial fibrillation, mild cardiomyopathy

Other medications

Gabapentin 900mg daily, Metoprolol XL 50mg daily, trazodone 100g daily PRN, ASA 81mg daily, l-theanine 200mg daily

Allergies

Dilaudid, morphine

Lab data

Multiple tests, echocardiogram, cardiac catherization, stabilization of fluid overload, cardioversion. I now have significant heart disease including a decreased ejection fraction - from 45% in early September to 25% in early October
