Symptom narrative

8 hours after the injection, I developed joint pain in my knees, ankles and wrists, full body aches, fever of 101 orally, restlessness, lightheadedness, and extreme pain at the injection site unlike any other vaccine pain I have experienced. I was scheduled to go to travel in 2 days. the following days my symptoms continued and worsened and my fever persisted despite rotating ibuprofen and Tylenol around the clock, maxing out on each med. temp max 102 on antipyretics. I developed pain so severe in my right arm that it felt like I was being stabbed in my shoulder any time I moved it. 2 days in I developed a hot red marking on my arm that spread rapidly over the following 3 more days. the pattern moved down my arm to my elbow and was hot to the touch. I became delirious while in another county and went to the hospital where they diagnosed me with cellulitis. however this diagnosis was debated among local drs. the international drs wanted to admit me to the hospital but I refused. I was prescribed a foreign antibiotic - cefcor which I took for a week. my symptoms lasted a full 7 days, then largely subsided. however, the outline of the "rash" on my arm lasted 3 weeks. it was the sickest I've ever been in my life.
