patient called stating that after receiving the flu shot Friday that evening/early Saturday he developed a lump below the waist 1/3 of the size of a baseball on the same side of his body the flu shot was administered on. the lump is decreasing in size but is not completely resolved as of today. He is stating that in 10/2022 he received a flu shot and then roughly 4 days later he was extremely short of breath and went to the hospital with a pulmonary embolism. he stated it was not connected at the time but believes it was a result of the flu shot.
