Peripheral swelling

Symptom narrative

Patient contacted pharmacy on 10/29/25 complaining of swelling of arm/. Pt reported applying ice to the injection site last night which helped with the swelling but it was back this morning. Pt denied any other symptoms or signs and symptoms of an allergic reaction. Pt advised to call PCP office and inform them of the situation.

Allergies

Prior to 10/28/25: Pt only reported allergy to penicillins. On 10/29/25: When pt called she reported she is allergic to clindamycin and cephalexin as well.
