Symptom narrative

Mom notified clinic via message of some swelling/redness of injection site the morning after patient received the flu vaccine. Mom was told to monitor at home as within time frame of expected side effects following vaccine. Mom message back later in the day. Redness significantly spread-large circle on arm with sharp borders and tender to touch. Office instructed mom to proceed to Urgent Care for evaluation. Urgent Care evaluated and prescribed prednisone for local reaction.
