high fever; chills; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of PYREXIA (high fever) and CHILLS (chills) in a female patient of an unknown age who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. No Medical History information was reported. In December 2020, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. In 2021, received dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient experienced PYREXIA (high fever) and CHILLS (chills). At the time of the report, PYREXIA (high fever) and CHILLS (chills) had resolved. No concomitant medications provided by the reporter. It was reported the patient used to have a bad reaction to the vaccine, usually it went off for 2 or 3 days with a symptom of high fever and chills. No treatment medications provided by the reporter.
