Symptom narrative

Patient developed a deep red circular rash over the entire bicep region of where the shot was administered. Hives initially presented before turning to a deep red. No pain, but was warm to touch and itchy for multiple days. Patient was utilizing claritin and advised to use a dose of benadryl and pepcid to help with local reaction. Was able to stay at home.

History of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, 3 months off treatment at time of vaccine.

Bactrim on the weekends, claritin
