Symptom narrative

Spoke with pt's wife evening of 10/31 and saw pt in store 11/1. Pt is experiencing redness, mild swelling, and warmth to the touch on arm several inches below injection site down to almost his elbow. He is experiencing mild soreness and discomfort at reaction site but reports no fever or other symptoms. Pt is also receiving cancer treatment with Keytruda and received a dose last week. They marked the margins of the redness last night and it has spread slightly beyond those margins. Advised him to continue to monitor reaction site, to reach out to his oncologist, and to seek more immediate medical attention if fever occurs or symptoms worsen.
