Symptom narrative

Patient presented to pharmacy on 11/2/25 to pick up antibiotic and speak with pharmacist. Patient explained that after administration of vaccine, left arm became red, swollen, and itchy and they developed fever and other flu-like symptoms. Patient also received Fluzone HD in the right arm but she developed no localized reaction in the appendage. She went to her provider on 11/2/25 because symptoms were worsening (rash was spreading from upper arm to lower arm close to elbow line). He prescribed cephalexin and instructed patient to also take Benadryl and famotidine.
