No additional adverse event; HCP called to report a TE occurring on 8/18/2025 for PROQUAD and VARIVAX.; This spontaneous report was received from a physician, concerning a 3-year-old patient of unknown gender. The patient's medical history, concurrent conditions and concomitant therapies were not reported. On 18-Aug-2025, occurred a temperature excursion (TE) of the vaccines Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (Oka-Merck) Virus Vaccine Live (PROQUAD) and Varicella Virus Vaccine Live (Oka-Merck) lyophilisate and solvent for solution for injection (VARIVAX). On an unknown date2025, the patient was vaccinated with Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (Oka-Merck) Virus Vaccine Live (PROQUAD), (the product was reported as Varicella Virus Vaccine Live (Oka-Merck) lyophilisate and solvent for solution for injection (VARIVAX) but was confirmed per Lot# as PROQUAD) (lot #Y016876 has been verified to be valid for this product, expiration date confirmed as 07-Apr-2026) (dose and route not provided); reconstituted with sterile diluent (Hollister-Stier STERILE DILUENT). Vaccine administered as prophylaxis. This was one of the vaccines involved in the TE (Product storage error). No additional adverse events reported (No adverse event).
