Memory loss; Taste and smell loss; Taste and smell loss; Lost weight; Lack of energy; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of AMNESIA (Memory loss), AGEUSIA (Taste and smell loss), ANOSMIA (Taste and smell loss), WEIGHT DECREASED (Lost weight) and ASTHENIA (Lack of energy) in a 65-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included Cardiovascular disease, unspecified. In June 2021, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient experienced AMNESIA (Memory loss), AGEUSIA (Taste and smell loss), ANOSMIA (Taste and smell loss), WEIGHT DECREASED (Lost weight) and ASTHENIA (Lack of energy). At the time of the report, AMNESIA (Memory loss), AGEUSIA (Taste and smell loss), ANOSMIA (Taste and smell loss), WEIGHT DECREASED (Lost weight) and ASTHENIA (Lack of energy) had not resolved. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular use) was unknown. Concomitant medications were not reported. It was reported that patient had cardiovascular disease before taking the shots and started experiencing memory loss, taste and smell loss after taking the shot. Patient had also lost weight. Patient also had lack of energy. It was unknown if the patient experienced any additional symptoms/events.
