Patient presented with order from her physician for RSV vaccination prior to birth. Patient attested that she is 36 weeks and two days pregnant. Checked CDC website to verify that vaccine can be given up to 36 weeks and 6 days. Went over VIS in the room with the patient and discussed adverse effects from vaccine. Patient temperature checked it was 98.3. Patient stated that she was getting over a sinus infection but felt well with no fever at home. Reconstituted vaccine per manufactures instructions. Liquid was clear no discoloration and no particulates noted. Lot number and date written on consent. After giving vaccine noted that vaccine had expired at the end of October. Called Pfizer they were unable to give information about vaccine that was expired and unable to give a beyond use date. Pfizer took a medical report and offered to send more information by email. The email information states that there is no information regarding administration after the expiration date. They have also state a literature search as of 03/12/2025 failed to identify any information of ABRYSVO after the expiration date. The patient was notified and states she will be calling her OB to discuss. At the time she was notified she stated she did not want to be revaccinated. Patient stated that she did have a TDAP vaccine 10/25/2025 but she did not have the Lot information on the vaccine.
