10 min post inj. pt. reports feeling "off and light headed". Pt. BP 160/98, pulse 69, ox 97. Gave pt. some water, eval her breathing and respirations (wnl). Pt. then stated that she felt like she needed to clear her throat and that her eyes and nose were watering. Pt. give 50mg benadryl tabs. Cont. to feel light headed and off. complaints of blurry vision. Offered to call EMS, pt refused stating she just wanted to go home an lay down. Pt. questioned regarding health conditions and blood sugar stability, pt. said she had nothing to eat for breakfast but denied health conditions. Pt. given crackers and she ate 4. Pt. states she is starting to feel a little better but her "head feels weird". Retook bp after 15 minutes. 148/80, pulse 63, ox 98. Discussed with pt. husband that she needs to be monitored, pt. refuse help to her car and verbal instructions to follow up with EMS if symptoms persist or get worse.
