Symptom narrative

Initial injection was painful. Pain continued to get worse after 2 days. Contacted pharmacy after a week and a half of pain. Pharmacist suggested that I seek medical attention or physical therapy. On 10/15/2025, I spoke to a NP during a telemedicine visit. She suggested that I use OTC medications. On 10/21/2025, I went to urgent care. I was prescribed 5 days of Prednisone and given a referral to orthopedics. The Prednisone did not help. The pain continued to get worse. On 11/5/2025, I saw Dr, orthopedic surgeon. X-rays were done, and showed only a small calcification, which may or may not have already been there. Dr performed some physical tests, which caused more pain. Suspecting a possible rotator cuff tear, Dr ordered an MRI. The MRI is scheduled for 11/14/2025. A follow-up will be scheduled to report MRI results.
