Bruising; right elbow is swollen; developed pain in her right shoulder joint /right elbow joint are painful; Muscle pain; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of joint pain in a 86-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On 21-OCT-2025, the patient received Shingrix (intramuscular, left deltoid). On 22-OCT-2025, 1 days after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced joint pain (Verbatim: developed pain in her right shoulder joint /right elbow joint are painful) and muscle pain (Verbatim: Muscle pain). On 26-OCT-2025, the patient experienced contusion (Verbatim: Bruising) and swelling of elbows (Verbatim: right elbow is swollen). The outcome of the joint pain, muscle pain, contusion and swelling of elbows were not resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the joint pain, muscle pain, contusion and swelling of elbows to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 27-OCT-2025 The patient was the reporter, she received her Shingrix dose and twelve hours after the vaccination in her left bicep, she developed pain in her right shoulder joint. The pain felt like fire woke her from sleep, her right bicep muscle and right elbow joint are painful. She noticed bruises on her non vaccinated (right) bicep and right elbow, her right elbow was swollen. Nothing else was reported.
