The follow-up could not be possible as no contact details were available. Patient reported that the doctors said my body refused the shot. Patients case was not as bad as some full-blown cases. Patient never made the big ugly scabs like some have, but the itch burning sting was awful. Patient have not had any in 17 weeks now. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding completion of primary vaccination schedule, time to onset and laboratory test confirming shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
