Symptom narrative

received his second dose of Bexsero 3 months later, 28-JUL-2025; administered the first dose of Bexsero, 29-APR-2025; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of inappropriate age at vaccine administration in a 71-year-old male patient who received Men B NVS (Bexsero) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Men B NVS (Bexsero) for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included splenectomy (removed his spleen). On 28-JUL-2025, the patient received the 2nd dose of Bexsero. On 29-APR-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Bexsero. On 29-APR-2025, an unknown time after receiving Bexsero, the patient experienced inappropriate age at vaccine administration (Verbatim: administered the first dose of Bexsero, 29-APR-2025). On 28-JUL-2025, the patient experienced inappropriate age at vaccine administration (Verbatim: received his second dose of Bexsero 3 months later, 28-JUL-2025). The outcome of the inappropriate age at vaccine administration and inappropriate age at vaccine administration were not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 30-OCT-2025 The patient reported that after having a colonoscopy in which they hit his spleen and removed his spleen (pre-existing Bexsero), he was administered the first dose of Bexsero and received his second dose of Bexsero 3 months later, 28-JUL-2025, at his local pharmacy, and the patient has not received the third dose yet of Bexsero per the dose schedule provided to him at the hospital. The patient also received another Meningococcal vaccine (unknown product information) 3 months before receiving the first dose of Bexsero at his local pharmacy. The patient received 2 doses of Bexsero at an inappropriate age, which led to inappropriate age at vaccine administration.
