Symptom narrative

Redness of left eye followed by photophobia which appeared after 6 days of receiving the seasonal flu vaccine. The patient, who is a physician, who has had a prior history of recurrent uveitis, for which he had been extensively investigated was found to have HLA-B27 positivity, which is associated with Ankylosing Spondylitis/seronegative spondyloarthropathies/ recurrent uveitis. The patient's ophthalmologist had previously advised him to use topical steroid whenever experiencing such signs and do to this he used the medication and has been using to present times. With the application of the eye drops the symptoms resolved. The

Lab data

Prior history of recurrent uveitis for which investigated at Hospital Center in 2019. No test records available but patient was tested negative for HIV, Hepatitis C, B, autoimmune serology which include ANA. Only test positive was HLA-B27 in serum.
