Symptom narrative

Received HEPLISAV-B, Positive Test Result for Hepatitis B; Initial report received on 04-Nov-2025. A pharmacist reported that a female patient received HEPLISAV-B (hepatitis B vaccine) for hepatitis B immunization then showed a positive test result for hepatitis B virus. No medical history or concomitant medications were reported. On 24-Oct-2025, the patient received an unknown dose of a hepatitis B vaccine [HEPLISAV-B (lot number, expiration date, NDC number, route, and site not available)]. On 28-Oct-2025, four days after receiving HEPLISAV-B, the patient attempted to donate blood but was denied donation because she showed a positive test result for hepatitis B virus.
