Skin sensitization/neuropathy type feeling; Skin burning sensation; sharp pain when fabric touches skin; discomfort when walking/moving/working and laying in bed before; under arm area is ridiculously painful; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of skin sensitization in a 59-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included shingrix with an associated reaction of skin sensitization (1st dose refer case US2025131851). On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced skin sensitization (Verbatim: Skin sensitization/neuropathy type feeling), burning sensation skin (Verbatim: Skin burning sensation), skin pain (Verbatim: sharp pain when fabric touches skin), discomfort (Verbatim: discomfort when walking/moving/working and laying in bed before) and axillary pain (Verbatim: under arm area is ridiculously painful). The outcome of the skin sensitization, burning sensation skin, skin pain and discomfort were not resolved and the outcome of the axillary pain was unknown. The reporter states the skin sensitivity lasts for approximately 30 to 40 seconds then dissipates. The reporter states this sensitivity moves all around the body. The reporter mentioned areas affected include chest, abdomen, back, under arms, triceps but does state all over body. The reporter states it is uncomfortable to wear clothes because the fabric touching the skin was painful. The reporter does state his back is not as sensitive as the front. The reporter reports never having had measles or chickenpox. The reporter had been examined by his PCP with no diagnosis being given for this condition. The reporter states every moment fabric touches his skin he feels a sharp pain. The reporter describes the skin sensation as very painful, burning, uncomfortable, a neuropathy type feeling. The reporter does mention his under arm area is ridiculously painful. The reporter states he operates and he experiences discomfort preforming his job. The reporter was unable to provide the dates for vaccinations.
