Symptom narrative

wrong vaccine given; This non-serious case was reported by a nurse via call center representative and described the occurrence of wrong vaccine administered in a patient who received Men ACWY-CRM NVS (Menveo) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Men B NVS (Meningococcal B vaccine) for prophylaxis. The patient received Menveo and did not receive Meningococcal B vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Menveo the patient experienced wrong vaccine administered (Verbatim: wrong vaccine given). The outcome of the wrong vaccine administered was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 30-OCT-2025 Nurse reported a patient was administered a vaccine 6 months ago that appears to be a Menveo, but the order was for a Men B vaccine. The lot number does not match a GSK vaccine, but the provider may be administering a dose of Menveo now. The reporter did not collect this event information because it did not appear to involve a GSK vaccine, but agent who spoke with the healthcare professional after said the healthcare professional told her the order was for a Men B vaccine and they think the patient got Menveo and was reporting an event to be on the safe side. The reporter did not collect any information or ask about follow-up since did not think this was an event that was reportable.
