Symptom narrative

Out of age administration; This non-serious case was reported by a nurse via call center representative and described the occurrence of inappropriate age at vaccine administration in a 7-year-old male patient who received DTPa (Reduced antigen) (Boostrix) (batch number H4K3S, expiry date 30-OCT-2027) for prophylaxis. On 04-SEP-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Boostrix. On 04-SEP-2025, an unknown time after receiving Boostrix, the patient experienced inappropriate age at vaccine administration (Verbatim: Out of age administration). The outcome of the inappropriate age at vaccine administration was not applicable. This report is made by GSK without prejudice and does not imply any admission or liability for the incident or its consequences. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date:06-NOV-2025 The reporter called to report the administration of a Boostrix shot to a 7-year-old patient back. She wanted to know if the vaccine was valid and if there were some safety concerns. The Vaccine Administration Facility is the same as Primary Reporter.
