Symptom narrative

Possible Inappropriate schedule of vaccine; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of incomplete course of vaccination in a female patient who did not receive Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Shingrix (1st dose received on an unknown date in 2019) and Zostavax (dose received on an unknown date in 2019). The patient did not receive the 2nd dose of Shingrix. The patient experienced incomplete course of vaccination (Verbatim: Possible Inappropriate schedule of vaccine). The outcome of the incomplete course of vaccination was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 27-OCT-2025 The patient self-reported this case for herself. Patient reported that she received two shingles vaccines in 2019. She thought she was receiving the two doses of Shingrix. During a well care visit with her doctor recently, her doctor told her that she may have mistakenly given wrong shingles vaccine (Zostavax). The reporter/patient thinks she may have received Zostavax first shingles vaccine dose and Shingrix for the second shingles vaccine dose. The patient will follow up with her physician for details of the vaccines administered. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
