Symptom narrative

pt states she had tingling and pain in her right side. She had a virtual Dr. appt on 10/17/25. She had labs and prescribed oral prednisone. Labs were negative. She continued to decline with these symptoms. She went to Lexington Medical ER and was admitted to rule out stroke and MS. She had MRI of brain and spine, CT of head. She had slight elevation of white blood cell count and light elevation of liver enzymes. She was admitted for 24 hours for observation. She had neurology, neurosurgery and PT all consulted. After discharge she had FU w/ PCP on 10/29/25. She was told she had weakness on both sides and will need more tests. She followed up to clinic. neurology on 11/5/25 with Dr. She recommended to have a CTA of the neck that was normal. She had nerve test conducted of the upper extremities that were normal. She is now on cancellation list to have spinal tap to rule out MS. She was and treated w/ PT on 11/4/25. They did an eval and grip strength test. The right side was around 14lbs when it should be about 60. Left hand is at 40 lbs. She was referred to have OT and will follow up with neurology, PT and PCP.
