Symptom narrative

Immediate severe pain throughout injection site, radiating around my shoulder blade and then down to my elbow. I immediately yelled out with pain. It was hot, stinging/burning sensation and within 30 minutes I was not able to move my arm in the slightest degree without debilitating pain. The injection was administered by a new nurse, a man with braids while being observed by Dr's regular nurse. The regular nurse stating she observed the male nurse give the injection at a "wrong angle". He placed his thumb on top of my shoulder, measured down approximately 1 inch and injected at an angle. The next day I called to ask what could be done. I was told to "rest my arm". The next 5 days it continued swelling and increasing in pain. I called Dr. who told me to September 15th I called again and was told to come into the office that day. He instructed me to take 800 mg ibuprofen for pain. September 18th I called to report no change and he instructed me to take Prednisone Rx. After one week I called again at which time I was instructed to report an adverse reaction online if it did not improve.
