Patient stated her arm swelled up near injection site and beyond and she experienced a rash on her arm, up her shoulder and a little on her neck post-vaccination. She proceeded to take benadryl OTC and she mentioned this to me when I saw her a week later. The rash was still visible but the patient said it was noticeably better from when she received the vaccine. I still told her to follow up with her primary care physician as her reaction seemed to be more severe than what is listed in the manufacturer package instructions.

Methotrexate 50mg/2ml- 25mg once a week, fluorouracil 5% cream, escitalopram 5mg, diltiazem ER 24 hr 360mg, folic acid 1mg, eliquis 5mg, potassium chl crys ER 10mEQ, alprazolam 0.5mg.
Penicillin allergy
No tests. Patient followed up with her doctor and symptoms resolved in 3 weeks.
