pediatric doses administered to adult patient; pediatric doses administered to adult patient; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of adult use of a child product in a 43-year-old female patient who received HBV (Engerix B pediatric) (batch number 7NX57, expiry date 12-DEC-2026) for prophylaxis. On 05-NOV-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Engerix B pediatric. On 05-NOV-2025, an unknown time after receiving Engerix B pediatric, the patient experienced adult use of a child product (Verbatim: pediatric doses administered to adult patient) and underdose (Verbatim: pediatric doses administered to adult patient). The outcome of the adult use of a child product and underdose were not applicable. The patient received their initial dose of Engerix-B today on 5th November 2025 and they received a pediatric dose too. Can they get another pediatric dose to equal the full adult dose? How do they have to procced with the schedule? This patient was female and was 43 years old.
