Mal administration/58 yr old female patient received pediatric hep b instead of adult; 58 yr old female patient received pediatric hep b instead of adult; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via sales rep and described the occurrence of adult use of a child product in a 58-year-old female patient who received HBV (Engerix B pediatric) (batch number 47d3s) for prophylaxis. On 09-SEP-2025, the patient received Engerix B pediatric (right deltoid). On 09-SEP-2025, an unknown time after receiving Engerix B pediatric, the patient experienced adult use of a child product (Verbatim: Mal administration/58 yr old female patient received pediatric hep b instead of adult) and underdose (Verbatim: 58 yr old female patient received pediatric hep b instead of adult). The outcome of the adult use of a child product and underdose were not applicable.
